And you all thought I was dead....

Well its been a long, long time and I am finally posting! :D

In the past three to four months lots has happened so I'll just sum it up: In September I started school. I am taking Apologetics, Physics, Algebra, Health, Greek Reading, and World History. They are quite interesting subjects, and for the most part I am enjoying them. :) Volleyball started and ended :) ...we had a pretty good season. We also finally finished the Great Wall of China:)..not really. Just the wall be bulit for my Grandma (i mentioned it last post I think)
Mom, Dad, and Jan went to Australia in November to visit my brother and his family. In December We had my Dad's extended family over for three days for Christmas. We had a great time!!! I also was able to go to a youth conference for four days which was great fun!!! (picutures below) :D Addie and I bought tickets to go to Australia in April. I am so excited!!!! :D We are planning to stay there for 7 weeks with Brandon and Megan and their three kids. I can't wait!!!

So there is all the big stuff going on in my life right now.

My fantastic summer!!!

Boy, it has been a while since I was last on here! (I say that is every post don't I?)
Well, my summer has been lots of fun and quite full.

In April my family started to build a huge retaining wall on my Grandma's bank where she owns a lake cottage. (scroll down for a picture...)

May....hmmm I think I just finished up school :) And I cut my hair, here is a picture of Haley and I :

Then in June I started to train for a 300 mile bike trip. We rode from Indy to Grand Rapids Michigan in 4 days, but that wasn't until July.... I was able to lease (or "rent") a horse this summer so I could show in 4-H. So about three times a week I went and cleaned stalls, and worked with Ruby. Here is a picture of us at our show :) We won Reserve Grand in one of our classes :)

In July I did some doubley (mm, that may not be a word, but now it is :)) hard training with Dad, Addie and Haley, who went on the trip with me, for the bike trip and then on the 16th I was off. :) I had lots of fun and I was able to walk away with only a scraped knee and elbow and a bug gash out of my hand :) But at least nothing too bad. We were going up to Grand Rapids to attend our denominations International Conference which began the day we arrived and ended the following week. The conference was sooooo much fun!!!! I got to meet and get to know lots of other people. Including some from other countries. :) The conferees were divided into their age groups for class, which took place every morning. These were all focused around the theme of Meeting Christ in Life. I really enjoyed that part of the Conference. :)

And finally....August. This month has been a nice, slow month, which I am very thankful, seeing as though school starts in two weeks. ::A big sigh::
We are almost done with the retaining wall, ::huge smile:: of which I am very thankful as well :) Also this month Me, Abby, Emory, Sidney and Rachel became communicant members, which was really exciting. Tomorrow is our first communion, and next week I have to read my testimony in front of the Church...which is not the most exciting thing...:)
Here is a picture of the bank and one wall, we now have two walls on that side and two on the other, and we are working on finishing up the third one on that side.
Also in August we had YSSP (youth summer service project) at our church, where we spent three days doing odd jobs around the church. Pastor York led the days off with a devotion about serving which was really good, and then the rest of the day we worked. One day we were able to serve some widows by cleaning for them, I think that was the most fun, other than getting to go in a lift with Abby :) Here is a group picture:

Last night My friends and I had a goodbye party for Sidney, who is moving to Pennsylvania for the school year, cause her Dad is attending seminary there. We had lots of fun putting together photo albums and quoting movies.

As the Days Go By..........

I am so excited I can finally really feel spring!! Yesterday I spent the whole day out side....and I didn't have to wear a jacket, it felt soo wonderful!!!! :) And, I mowed the lawn for the first time this year! Woop diddy doo :)

Today I spent half the day cleaning out Janae's toys....I can't believe some the of things that we have kept for all these years, I mean seriously, we have these two stuffed dogs that were Brandon and Jacob's from when they were like 5. :) No wonder Jan has so many toys. :)

It was actually kinda fun to go through the stuff that Addie and I used to play with like the Barbies and dress ups. I can remember playing for hours with those things........Those were the good old days!!!!! :)

Well, I guess instead of sitting here scratching my head, and trying to think of what it was that I was going to write I might as well just leave you all with a wish for a good day and one of my favorite verses:
I peter 1:8 "And though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory."

Of Toilet Paper, and Laundry..............

Hello All!!!

I am so excited I can actually feel spring coming!!! Yay!!!

I am posting cause I actually have something to post. :o)

I have decided to share with you all a story........... It is (sadly) a true story that took place in my home just yesterday, but lets start in the beginning.

It was a sunny March day and Moriah was doing some chores for her sweet Mother, when one of her chores took her to the laundry room cabinet (which is located just above the washer and dryer) her task was to put something away in this cabinet. And so, as she is opening the door something rolls out and falls into the washer, and not really noticing, she continues her job in the cabinet. Once the task has been completed and she is leaving the room, she glances at what ever fell and finds out that it was a roll of toilet paper (why it was is that cabinet still boggles her) that fell into the washer. "Well" thought Moriah, "I had better get that out of there! Wouldn't that be a disaster if that got washed!" Well, later that afternoon Addie was checking on a load of darks she had put in the washer earlier, and she noticed that the clothes still had suds on them, so she rinsed them again. Later that night as she was checking them again she realized that, that it was not suds on the clothes, but lent, and LOTS of it!!! So she called her dear sister Moriah in to see if she happened to have put something in one of the pockets of her clothes that may have gotten over everything else. When Moriah came into the room and saw the shirt that Addie was holding up she just sat there and stared.........The shirt that at one time was black, now looked almost white because of the lent. Then Moriah just started laughing, which in turn made Addie laugh which drew the attention of Beth and Haley and they had to come over and look at the item that was causing such laughter, and then they started to laugh. Why they were laughing, other than the fact that the shirt looked completely ridiculous, they had no idea. Well, after she caught her breath, Moriah told them the story of the toilet paper falling into the washer, just then realizing that she must have forgotten to take the roll out of the washer. This caused even more laughter, which continued as each item, completely covered in wet shredded toilet paper, was taken out of the washer and placed in the dryer. (they were hoping that the dryer would take some of the lent off) Well, the dryer did help, but sadly, when the clothes were taken out they still had lent on them.
I wish that I could give this story a happy ending. But as of now the story is not done yet, the clothes are still sitting in the basket, waiting until Mother dear gets home to give directions on what to do next.
:o)
In the meantime, I think that I am going to leave all jobs that have to do with the laundry room cabinet to one of my sisters :)

Well, I better go, Chemistry is calling me........

Can you believe it I am actually updating and it hasn't been a month since my last post......I think that I just might die!! On the other hand.....maybe not.

Anyway, I really should be studying for finals this coming week, but right now that does not sounds in the least bit appealing, so I am putting it off.......which is not a good thing and yet right now....I don't care!!!

The problem is that i have no idea what to post about so I am just considering leaving this as it is right now and just not care........

so in light of that I am going to leave you with a wonderful quote from a great movie...

I can never seem to keep up with posting can I? Sorry once again about the great delay.

Hello again!

Sorry for the great delay in between the posts :)

Anyway, thanks to Leah's encouragement I am now posting again.

Well, I have finished the first trimester of school and I am now on a break. Which is a great relief. :)

We have now moved. The new house is wonderful! I LOVE it! Although the continual going through boxes and piles of stuff is getting a bit old. But all in time we will get it all sorted out.:)

I must leave now, chores are calling.

I am really busy right now so posts will be far and few between, if there ever is another one.

We are moving.....or will hopefully be moving.......in less than a month, as long as all goes well. So the past few weeks have been cleaning, cleaning and MORE cleaning....it is never ending, and on top of that school......loads and loads of homework....uggggg. I think that school should be illegal!

So that is how life is right now. Yeah greatly exciting!!!!!! But the Lord has been good, I have seemed to be able to find time to get homework done and have at least a hour or two of free time a day.

Leah, my dearest bun, showed these verses at school on Tuesday: 1 Peter 3-10:

The other day I went to the park with my Dad and little sister, Janae. We were riding our bikes and as the wind was blowing through my hair, I was admiring the beautiful day, I was thinking about biology (I finished it last school year) and all of the stuff that I learned about the trees, insects, flowers, and the way the clouds work and stuff. And I was just in awe at how complex this world is, like how a leaf in microscopic form it looks like it could be two inches thick with all of the stuff that it contains. And how a tree has two different systems of getting nutrients trough the trunk, think about it a tree, full of bark and stuff can have liquid running through it, amazing! And the flowers, some are red so that they attract birds so that they can transport the pollen. I just think about it and it is all beyond my thinking, like for instance there is 1,000,000 cells in the dot of and "i", one little dot and one million cells. Just think about it!!!! The world we live in, and how it all works, God truly is amazing!!!! And there are some out there that think that a big bang made it all happen. Crazy, I think. Just take a moment and look outside, all of the life around us....truly amazing!!!!!!!!

And if you haven't taken Biology, although it can be hard at times, I learned sooooo much and I am sooo thankful that I took it, I would encourage all to take it and tell me if you aren't amazed and the complexity of this world!!!!!! God is truly amazing!!!!!!!!

I Finally Post!!

Wow I can't believe that it has been 3 months scince I last posted.

So, heres whats been going on:

~school is over ***big huge smile and jump out of computer chair, while yelling "yesssss"***
~Brandon, Megan, Jolene, and Adele are coming in a 1 1/2 weeks
~We had a super-fun memorial day picninc with our church
~Haley graduated!

that is all of the exciting things that happened in the three months that I haven't posted. Well, maybe more happened, but not worth posting.

I better go. I need to clean up my room. :)

Hi everyone!!

I am soo biologyed (not a word but who cares!!) out!!!!! I had a quiz today and spent all day yesterday studying. :0(-

But this coming week is SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!! I so can't wait!!!!!

Last night we had a whole bunch of college kids over for a bible study. But before that we had my brother Jacob, his friend Jamey, and David, another guy that goes to our church over for supper. We had white lasagna! YUM! and Mom had a friend from southern Indiana here for supper and her daughter and two kids. It was fun but a lot of cooking and cleaning.

Welp, that's pretty much all that is going on here.

Happy March!!!!! Here is a happy springy picture:

I am finally am going to post! Sorry that it has been soooooooo long. But school, and breaks, and homework, and friends coming over, and life.....well, anyway, I least I am positing now.

Although I really don't know what to say or post about cause, nothing really exciting has happened lately. Except for.....

Last week I started a volleyball camp at Kokomo High School. So that is fun. I was sooo sore the first week.....It is amazing how out of shape I am!!!!!!

Then on Saturday Chelsea had a roller skating birthday party and I fell really hard on my tail bone and knee (not at the same time) :-) That was sooo much fun!!!! Not the falling part the skating part. :)

And then I got to have Chelsea over from Sunday night till today. She went to Emory's house this afternoon. :)

I had SCA today......Fun Fun....... I found out that in my Old Testament Survey class I have to give a 30 minute presentation about Zachariah. That will be fun because in order to give a presentation then we will have to learn a lot about it and I am sure that it will be very beneficial.

Today was soo beautiful!!!!! I am sooo enjoying the spring-like weather...just wish that it would stay around forever!!!!

Last Saturday our horse and pony club had a tack swap and we sold almost all of our tack ***sniff*** The selling the tack part wasn't quite as bad as the selling the horse part. But, it does make the whole thing sink in a little farther.

Well, I guess that that makes for a very random post but that is what has been going on in my life these past few weeks.

Hey all!

Well, Jacob got the house that he wanted in Indian Heights. Which is sooo exciting!!!!!!! I think that he has to wait another month before he can move in though. I can't wait it will be soo cool to have Jacob living in Kokomo!!!!!

Biology Class

Hey all,
I dissected a worm today in biology class!!!! I my goodness I never knew that a worm would stink that much!!!

Then after that I had a test. :( SOOO NOT fun but I got through it.

Lets see I guess that it has been a week since I last posted...WOW time flies!!!

I would post about my last week but unfortunately all that I did was study for tests and write a Church History paper. So not a whole lot going on.
Except for the fact that I have a six page paper on any animal that I want due in May. (for bio class)

Anyway, I should probably go and get more school done.

Well, we are supposed to get 12 inches of snow and 32 mile an hour wind gusts.

I really hope that we will that way school will be canceled!!!!!:-) Now that would be sooo cool!!!!!

Over the weekend I watched 'Flushed Away' a very funny movie!!!!!! It was pretty good and funny and had a good ending.

I decided to post a random cool picture of the ice storm we had I think two years ago.

I saw it as I was looking through picture and I thought that it looked cool. :)

Well, I have a big OTS assignment due on Tuesday so I better go and finish.

Sorry that it has been so long since my last post. I have had alot of homework assignments due this past week that I, by the way am very glad are done!!!

Well, today I had my SCA classes which all went pretty well and then violin lessons. But nothing really interesting to write on my blog.

My birthday is in five days!!!! Wooohoooo!!!!

Yeah, so anyway, I don't know what else to say and I have to go and do the dishes.

Lets see where to start???

Well, I 6:30 am. I awoke to the alarm beeping and rolled out of bed and into the shower. I am serious there is nothing more refreshing in the morining than a nice hot shower!

Today was SCA (hints the reason why I had to get up at such a early hour).

It all started with Speech. I have to say that even though I am HORRIBLE at saying speeches that I really like the class. Thanks to Mrs. Faris the class is something to look forward too. :-)

And then to Old Testament Survey. Love this class too. This week we studied proverbs. It was really interesting!

Then the highlight of the day. LUNCH!!!!! Today we brought Brats. YYYYUUUMMM!!!

Next was Geogoraphy. We are learining about Africa. :-)

Then Chruch History. Of which the wonderful Mr. Camery teaches.

And my last class of the day. Greek. I love writing that word it feels soo......Greekish. Mr York is so nice he let us go in the library and sit on the couch and read Greek for our class.

And then I was off with The Dinks. for violin.

And after that at 5:00 I finally got to go home to a supper of KFC!!!!!!!!!!!

A Wonderful Day!!!

Today was great!!!

I woke up this morning to the ground blanketed with beutiful snow! I love snow it looks so fresh and clean. Except for the part of trying to drive on unpaved roads:-) The first thing that I did was settle down to a bowl of Wheaties and strawberries:-) yyyuuummm!!!
And then after b-fast I got ready for Church and then off to Sunday school class. Today we learned about sin and confessing it and how the Lord is willing to forgive us. And is service we are going through Genesis this week we were focusing in Abraham and how obedient he was in listening to God and going to sacrifice his son Issac. It was a great sermon!!!!!!

After Church my Dad, my little sis and I were able to go sledding with a family in our church.
It was great fun!!! Until the snow turned into ice and i slipped and fell on my tailbone. It really hurt and it still hurts!!! But it was still lots and lots of fun!!!!!

Well, I should probably go now I have a assignment due that I need to work on before I go to bed so tata for now!

Biology, the horrid name makes me shiver!!!!!!

My alarm woke me up bright and early at 6:30 this morning :( unwilling to get up I pushed it on snooze. Little did I know that I had accedentaly pushed this button four times before, making my time to get ready very slim! As soon as I got to school our teacher (kind as he is) decided to bestow upon us poor students a quiz! After suffering to that horrid quiz we got to do some experiments with mold. our class ended early so we got to have some yummy rice krispies that our teachers wife always makes! (thankyou mrs. Mckissick!!!!!!) And then on to the carpet-ball turnaments! I my self (not meaning to brag:)) won 3 times. :-) I would have had the chance to win more but we had to go devotions. And then home beacuse (thankfully) I dind't have any more classes today.

I am now making Chocolate Chip Cookies. They are sooooooooooo good!!!!!!

My cookies are calling me so I must depart from you!
